Diamond Packaging celebrated Earth Day by partnering with the Seneca Park Zoo on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10 AM to 4 PM to help kids plant trees and seeds for butterfly gardens.
Now in its 12th year, Diamond's Earth Day partnership with the Zoo is an ideal way to educate and inspire visitors about conservation. It is also an opportunity for Diamond to discuss its industry-leading sustainability initiatives.
This year’s event was a tremendous success, with Diamond employees joining hundreds of guests for a day of fun, learning, and giving back to the planet.
What We Did Together:
- 250 trees planted (a new record!) — children got their hands in the soil and planted a tree to take hom
- Butterfly garden seeds — children planted seeds to grow their own pollinator-friendly gardens
- Photo booth memories — guests captured a keepsake at our first-ever Diamond photo booth
- Recycling game — participants tested their knowledge and took home a prize
Beyond the activities, we were proud to share Diamond’s commitment to sustainability with the community.
