Press Release

Rochester, NY – Diamond Packaging today announced that it is taking a proactive step forward in its sustainability journey by participating in CDP's 2025 SME Climate Change disclosure questionnaire. This voluntary participation demonstrates Diamond's response to growing expectations for climate transparency from customers, stakeholders, and policymakers.

CDP is a global non-profit charity that runs the world’s leading disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states, and regions to manage their environmental impacts. The world’s economy looks to CDP as the gold standard of environmental reporting with the richest and most comprehensive dataset on corporate and city action.

Diamond’s data will be added to the most comprehensive inventory of self-reported environmental data in the world – helping to drive action through greater transparency.

Diamond shared information on its industry-leading greenbox sustainability initiative to research, design, and implement packaging solutions that are innovative and more sustainable. The core of the initiative – designs, materials, and methods – represents a comprehensive approach to packaging that minimizes environmental impact throughout the supply chain. Through creative design, careful material selection, and best practices at the plant level, Diamond is able to minimize waste, reduce shipping costs and increase efficiencies – all of which support a sustainable use of resources and cultivate a positive emotional connection to the brand.

"Our 2025 CDP disclosure demonstrates Diamond's commitment to environmental transparency and accountability," said Dennis Bacchetta, marketing director and founding member of Diamond's Green Team. "This reporting helps us better understand our environmental impact while positioning us to proactively address climate-related risks. By participating in CDP's global disclosure system, we're communicating to stakeholders our dedication to sustainable business practices."

“Now more than ever, all organizations need to measure and understand their environmental impacts, surfacing the data that helps them make smarter decisions for people, planet, and profit,” said Sherry Madera, Chief Executive Officer at CDP.
