The new carton design — featuring metallic ink and foil stamping — conveys the essence of the product and transforms its perceived value, brand differentiation, and shelf prominence.

Solutions

The new packaging features a combination of color, tightly registered foil, and embossing accents that catch the eye and invite closer inspection.

The carton was converted utilizing FSC-certified Invercote G paperboard and offset printed with four color process, metallic brown, and opaque white inks, and UV gloss coating.

Invercote G was chosen for its smooth surface that is tailored to faithfully reproduce the most sophisticated printed images and meet the high demands of flawless foil stamping and embossing.

Overprinting brown ink over cold foil on the top and front panels creates a shimmering metallic effect.

Hot foil stamping (gold bands) and foil embossed accents (L'Oreal Paris logos) on the front and top panels provides an upscale appearance unique to personal care products.

The structural design features a specially-designed, integrated insert, which provides protection for the primary container.

The result is a strikingly visual presentation that stands out in the retail environment and conveys the essence of an upscale brand.
