Best Family of Packages The Xerox Corporation required a total package redesign for its new line of DocuPrint M and WorkCentre M Series printers that would work well in their new filling equipment and be consistent in style regardless of the size or configuration. Diamond Packaging developed a family of cartons that tie all of the products together and portray them with the exceptional quality that Xerox Corporation is known for. Whether a single, multiple or combination pack, all of the cartons in the line have a similar look and feel and make it easy for the consumer to find the correct product on the retail shelf. An easily identified and labeled color bar along the top of the header corresponds with the color of the ink cartridge(s) inside, whether it be yellow, magenta, cyan or black. This virtually eliminates error when choosing the product in the retail environment. Structurally, Diamond Packaging designed a carton that is less complex than the previous design by eliminating an inner cell. In addition, a seal end closure panel was incorporated in order to work well with their new high speed filling equipment. |
